Ngar'li
Ngar'li (En-Gar-Lie) is an ancient Daemon city located to the West of the Olpham Plains. Ngar'li is huge - four times the size of the Human City in Litharia - and has existed for thousands of years. Constructed from a mixture of heavy black stone and black marble, the city is gothic in design and very beautiful despite being dark and foreboding. The lighting within Ngar-li is created by burning a type of oil found only in the Dream Land that creates a deep purple flame.
The Olpham Plains, which must be crossed to reach Ngar'li, is arguably the most dangerous place in the entire Dream Land. Wind and lightning storms frequently blow up off the plains and over the city, and it is also invaded fairly regularly by the monstrous creatures that call the plains home. Nevertheless, Ngar'li is considered a hub within Dream Land and most Daemons will visit it over the course of their lifetime. Furthermore, close to half of the entire population of Daemons calls the city home. As one would expect from a city of this size, Ngar'li boasts uncountable taverns, brothels, entertainment venues and living spaces, the latter typically in an apartment style.

The Olpham Plains
The Olpham Plains are one of the most dangerous places in Dream Land, and that's saying something. These vast stretches of empty savannah lay to the east of Ngar-li and run as far as the marble pyramids to the North. Hundreds of thousands of acres of rolling hills hiding the lairs of monsters and home to a vast array of strange and dangerous creatures, the Olpham Plains lies beneath a perpetual storm. The rose-and-orange lightning borne from swollen purple clouds is never-ending, and electrocution is always a danger to travellers of this region. Far more dangerous and likely than this, though, is encounters with the various predatory beasts that call the plains home.
Ngar'li cannot be reached from the north or east without crossing the plains and, because the city is bordered to the west by unpassable cliffs and to the south by the Ghost Marshes, most Daemons who come to Ngar'li cross the plains. Even so, many die there each year. The plains can be profitable to those who can survive there - the animals, if they can be killed, are valuable and rich deposits of diamond and platinum can be found in some areas. Still, the plains are not a good place to live and there are no permanent Daemon settlements there. This region is inhabited by travellers and creatures only and it shows little mercy to either.

Mərmərləmək The Marble Pyramids
Colloquially known simply as the marble pyramids, this is actually a thin mountain range stretching the length of the continent of Dream Land and lying in the furthest Northern regions. This far north there are never any of the electrically charged, dramatic, dangerous storms that sweep over the rest of Dream Land - the skies are always clear, and for this reason it is the best place to view the three sister planets and single huge moon of the planet Dream Land is located on. The three planets are visible at all times, and the moon is visible from late afternoon through til the early hours of the morning. The sister planets are known as Xaos (chaos), Idi (war) and Qan (blood), while the Daemons know the moon as Xəyalları, or Dream Lover.
The length of the mountain range is staggering - thousands of miles of these odd, pyramid-like Mountains lie in the north of Dream Land. They are uniform in shape but vary in size and composition; the smallest are only about the height of a two-story building, while the largest are too tall to climb even by the most determined adventurer, due to the lack of oxygen at such lofty heights. The pyramids are all naturally formed from marble with various impurities giving that marble different colours - the least tainted are pure white, but coloured pyramids are more common. To the east the colours tend to run to dull purples, greens, oranges and reds. To the west pale blues are much more likely, and the skies become progressively clearer.
Though this is the coldest part of Dream Land, there is no snow even this far north. The Pyramids are separated from the mainland by rivers of mercury and other liquid metals; these flow from Dream Land's seas which are also mercurial rather than composed of water. The same impurities that colour the marble mountains also tend to stain the silvery mercury rivers near those mountains, giving the rivers and nearby stretches of sea a faint colouring. The mercury is, obviously, highly toxic to the Daemons but it is inhabited by various - usually dangerous and predatory - sea creatures that have adapted to the liquid metal environment.
If one can cross the mercury seas and rivers to reach the Pyramids they can be climbed, although caves in their sides hide all manner of monstrous creatures. It is against the laws of the Daemon Lord to take marble from the pyramids so they have, over the years, retained their unusual and perfect shape. This is considered a reasonably spiritual region for the Daemons and, although they have no Gods, they may come here to worship chaos itself.
