"If it were easy, everyone would do it."
Name: Akir Rummonia Zernocha
Nickname: Viper
Age: 26
Date of Birth: December 27th
Sexuality: Heterosexual
Practice: Reptilian Shaman- Egyptian Cobra
Loyalty: To the Doshaan Huntresses and their affiliated “goddess” Chartan
Status/Occupation: A death dealer in the Doshaan
Played By: Draco
Theme Song: For the Kill by Biting Elbows
Abilities:
One of the Family- Akir is able to hold and touch snakes without fear of being bitten and/or constricted. Holding snakes or just being near them does not make them feel threatened or aggravated towards her. This does not apply to shifters with a snake form.
Appearance
Face; Akir has a very angular and sharp jawline, followed by sunken-in cheeks and high, but subtle cheekbones. Overall her face is sharp and oval in shape. Her nose is small and refined with a wide, slightly concave bridge.
Body; At a first glance, Akir has a straight and almost “narrow” body shape. Were is not for the strong arm, abdominal, back, and leg muscles lining her body, she could even be described as petite. She has small hips and a small bust as well as a small waist line that slightly curves inwards to give her some definition. Her shoulders are narrow as well. Akir stands above the average height of her practice at around five foot five. Stealth is a vital role in her life and this can be seen with her overall posture and demeanor; Akir takes swift and careful steps while keeping as much attention off her as she can.
Complexion; Smooth and a dark shade of olive, Akir would have a beautiful and blemish free complexion were it not for the scars of burns scattered across her body. The left side of her cheek has a large, almost grotesque burn scar as well as most of the back of her neck and part of the left side, some burns along her left shoulder, leg, and some scattered across her stomach.
Hair; Very, very few people have ever seen Akir’s hair, and those that have do not see any hair besides what is left over from a shaved head. Hair is seen as a nuisance in the Dashaan, so they shave it all off or keep it very short. Akir prefers her shaved. Her hairline is rounded with a widow’s peak in the middle. When she does not have access to shaving it, it may grow out a little bit and, when this happens, it grows out black. Almost all of the time she is out in public, Akir wears headscarves are turbans to cover most of her head and occasional her face, so most do not get to see her lack of hair to begin with.
Eyes; Almond and shape and angled inwards just slightly, Akir’s eyes are perhaps her most striking features. There is a certain coldness to them, but they are bright and vibrant with a dazzling color of honey-brown. They tend to pop out more as she likes to adorn her face with makeups that she buys at local bazaars when she can afford it.
Clothes; Depending on the time and place, her attire can vary heavily. Akir likes to blend in and not draw attention to herself if possible. Preferable she wears anything loose fitting to keep her cool under the Boil’s hot sun. Akir is almost always wearing some form of head cover via a headscarf of some form or a turban.
Weapons; Akir has been trained with many weapons. She is most successful with using scimitars. She has a specific one gifted to her by the Darshaan. Its primary component is steel, but it is reinforced with titanium. Her main weapon is something called a Daggertail Chain Whip. It is a long, heavy and lanky whip-like weapon that has curved, pointed and barbed blades along almost all of its length. At its end is a pointed, arrow shaped head. This weapon is primarily composed of steel and iron. Finally, she keeps a small, curved knife on her that is almost always laced with snake venom. It is pure black with a blue iridescent shine to it.
Artifact; All Doshaan sisters have circlets as their artifacts, each one different from the other with what share and animal is represented on them. Akir’s is thin, small, and rests just past the top of her head. In the center of her forehead is a cobra sticking up. Its scales are decorated with a iridescent, dark red and the eyes are made with a yellow gemstone. The circlet itself is gold in color, but is made of copper and bronze. On each side of the snake are raised, gold-colored plates that gradually become smaller and smaller as they move away from the center piece and around the sides of the circlet. Off of each side are small chains with adorning, clean white stones shaped like pearls.
Familiars/Pets
Taaka; Doshaan are given horses to ride for combat and traveling purposes. They specifically use arabian horses for their speed. Hers is Taaka, a beautiful black female with a very docile personality. She has no attachment to the horse beyond using it as a tool.
Personality
Docile; Though her profession might make it seem otherwise, Akir is very calmed and in control of her emotions and temper. She does not lash out unless she feels the need to, and when she does it tends to end up with a deadly confrontation. Akir is not a pushover however, and she will stand her ground on her opinions and faith.
Devoted; Akir loves her people, family, and the gods that she worships. The pure loyalty that she bestows onto few is so strong that she would most likely risk her own life, depending on the circumstances. She is tight lipped about any and all secrets that pass her way unless selling those secrets benefits her, her family, or the Doshaan.
Intuitive; Part of the reason she has been able to survive with her line of work is due to her sense of intuition and honing it not just as a skill, but even using it as a weapon. Akir is not always right with her gut feelings, but it has saved her life a few times in the past.
Merciless; One could say she almost lacks empathy to an extent. There is some there, but Akir does not have much to spare. She is very indifferent to maiming, torturing, or killing. Occasionally she can find some enjoyment in it, but pleas for help or mercy do not sway her.
Hostile; Akir can keep herself level headed, but on those few occasions where she feels lashing out is necessary, she does not hold back. Over all, Akir has a very hostile and somewhat dangerous aura. Some have said they can see it in her eyes that she’s a cold-blooded killer.
Persistent; Once her mind is set on something, she will not stop until she obtains it. Failure is not an option in Akir’s line of work; if she fails, she will most certainly be killed by her sisters ceremonially, or at the very least maimed. Her persistence extends beyond her work; Akir will work a haggler down to her benefit if she can and will keep attempting to do so. Or if she wants to purchase something that is not for sale, she will simply insist on the shop keeper to sell it. If they do not comply, she will steal it. Akir does not take kindly to the answer ‘no’.
Artistic; Despite her lack of empathy and bloody hands, Akir has a high interest in art. She specifically finds enjoyment in dancing, makeup, and even fashion when she can indulge in it. Occasionally she will paint, including in extreme ways such as using blood to create art. For extra coin on the side and, if she has the time, Akir will also create dyes and will help dye any and all who wish for changes in their hair color.
Dothraan; Akir speaks a different form of dialect from most Boil occupants. Most of the words are similar to the Boil’s language, but this one is specifically spoken by the Doshaan sisters to recognize each other. Only the Doshaan, along with their family members, understand the language besides the portions that reflect the Boil language. See Akir’s journal for more information. She is also able to speak the common tongue with a very heavy accent, as well as the Boil’s natural language.
History
Akir was born and raised in the Boil. She was the third oldest in her family with two older brothers, a younger sister and a younger brother. The place she was born was called Ashtaaval Nor Taran, translated to “Birthplace of our Mother, Taran”, one of the Doshaan’s revered goddesses. This place was were all children in Doshaan families were born, and Akir was no different, nor her siblings. Her parents were the equivalent of assassins and wanted to pass down the Doshaan way onto their children.
From an extremely young age, Akir and her siblings were expected to take up the profession. As a toddler, she could not do much, but her parents did begin teaching her vocabulary from the Dothraan language. The work she was forced to do past her toddler years around the Doshaan temples were extreme for someone as young as she, and many would have considered it child labor. Her education consisted of learning of the Doshaan’s gods and goddesses, their rituals, rules, life style, and more.
At thirteen, Akir was given a scimitar and told to kill a slave. She was hesitant at first, but it was required of her. It was easy to kill the slave since the slave had no weapon; That was a good thing considering Akir had no fighting lessons. Her hesitation passed and, after she killed the slave, bathed in the slave’s blood to complete her first initiation. Thus the real training began.
Akir was continuously trained by her parents and older siblings, as was the tradition. At fifteen, she was given a horse and taught how to ride. At sixteen, she was taught how to fight from horseback. Seventeen, she learned how to use a whip, a dagger, and throwing knives as well as a normal sword, a dart gun, ect. Most of the weapons she learned to use, she did not excel at nor did she devout very much time to. She simple learned to use them in case she was in a moment where she would need o use one.
Out of all her siblings, she was one of the family’s best, excluding her oldest brother. Her training was intense, bloody, and sometimes deadly. Through those training years, she was still only an initiate and not a full-fledge Doshaan.
When she turned twenty, she was to undergo her second and final initiation. She had a contract to kill someone. If she succeeded, Akir would be a Doshaan and would be gifted a keepsake from the Doshaan Weaponry. For the initiation, she had to track her target down, kill them, behead them and cover herself in their blood, and return the head to the Doshaan so they could undergo her initiation ritual. If Akir failed, she would be hunted down and killed.
She survived and performed her initiation with mistakes, but without fail. Akir underwent the ceremony to become a sister. Ambition began to overtake her; From the beginning, she wanted to rise to the top. So she took on extra work, trained more, and learned new skills. During her past time, she would learn to dance, paint, and so forth when she was forced to take time off from the excessive training and killing. At just twenty-three years old, Akir went from a Shadow Stalker (essentially a fledgling), to a Death Dealer. Akir earned a lot of respect and, out of tradition, was given the nickname ‘Viper’ for her quick and deadly attacks.
